Are Your Thyroid Levels Really "Fine" or “Normal”?

Most doctors only test TSH (and FT4 if you're lucky), which doesn’t provide a full picture of thyroid health. This Complete Thyroid Test includes TSH, Total T3, Total T4, Free T3, Free T4, Reverse T3, T3 Uptake, and thyroid antibodies (TPO, TGA, TRAb), allowing for a more in-depth look at how your thyroid is functioning.

You’ll receive a test kit in the mail, which includes everything you need for a simple blood draw. You’ll need to arrange for a phlebotomy service to collect your sample. Detailed instructions will be included in your kit. (You'll need to pay for this separately)

Once your sample reaches the lab, it takes 10 days for processing. You’ll receive your results via email from support@tokibirch.com  as soon as they are ready (so be sure to whitelist this email address).

• If taking B12, please stop supplementing 2 weeks prior to blood draw, and stop biotin 48 hours prior to your blood test.

• DO NOT stop prescription medicines unless under the guidance of your prescribing medical practitioner. If using T3 and or T4 thyroid replacement hormones, book your blood draw first thing in the morning and only take your thyroid replacement hormones right after your blood has been drawn so as not to skew the interpretation the results. Mark the time you took your hormones, then eat a delayed breakfast 30 minutes later.

No fasting is required for this test, but it’s best to take it in the morning, ideally before eating or taking thyroid meds or supplements.

We may need to confirm with the lab as different countries may change their rules from time to time as to whether test kits and blood samples are allowed to be shipped.
